The LQ Commercial (LQ) leadership team is growing in Orlando and looking for a highly reputable Market Leader. This is a compensated “Player-Coach” position with additional commission potential. Open to a proven producer in Central Florida’s commercial real estate industry that motivates all experience levels.
This role will manage the LQ (formerly LandQwest Commercial) Orlando office and foster its culture of productivity and best practices. This is achieved by overseeing daily activities, from recruiting to retention, guiding sales/leasing/business development efforts, exercising operational and fiscal responsibility, serving as brand ambassador, and cultivating office tenor.
- Recruit and train a collaborative, engaged group of commercial-specific Sales Associates.
- Host agent business planning sessions as well as all local sales meetings.
- Establish, execute, mentor, and measure all local business development efforts.
- Research proposal and presentation opportunities – assign and/or participate as appropriate.
- Grow market share by consistently generating and assigning new business.
- Continuously boost production and achieve revenue goals.
- Nurture relationships with tenants, owners, developers, investors, government, vendors…
- Communicate with key commercial real estate influencers.
- Educate team on local industry / market intel including new developments, competition changes, new business prospects, etc.
- Routine attendance at local networking and industry functions as well as communal / charitable / educational events.
- Contribute and adhere to annual budgets – enforce reasonable expenditures and efficiency.
- Assist with various corporate initiatives, including acquisitions and operational expansions.
- Positively promote and enhance LQ’s overall visibility in the Greater Orlando marketplace.
- Motivate (as player-coach) professional growth aspects such as business planning, pipeline maintenance, referral resources, personal branding and social selling, networking outlets, contract negotiations, market knowledge, thought leadership, community engagement, and celebrating successes.
- Florida Real Estate Sales Associate license required – Broker License preferred.
- Familiarity with Greater Orlando commercial real estate agents, owners, tenants, officials…
- Minimum five years in a (commission-based) production and management role in the commercial real estate sales/leasing field.
- Team player adept at coordinating, monitoring and inspiring others to meet goals.
- Experience in business development with a proven track record in building and leading a highly successful and profitable team.
- Knowledge of commercial sales arena – business generation, transaction management, etc.
- Working knowledge of financial analysis of commercial property and capital market concepts.
