In a turn of events, the Tijuana Flats bankruptcy created coveted second-generation restaurant openings. This “darling” of retail real estate space is rarely available, so before vacancies are publicized, tenants are already in line.
Only Dave’s Hot Chicken could crack into the ‘Shoppes at Celebration.’ The 2,610-square-foot space at 6113 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee will be their tenth Florida location. This ‘Celebration Triangle’ tourist center is their second Orlando late-night stand, after Waterford Lakes Town Center.
LQ Commercial’s Julia Sosa and Eva Royal represented the landlord, JR Zammitt Holdings LLC. “We knew this would be leased before it hits to market, but Dave’s really came to win among several competing chains,” said Sosa, LQ Commercial Orlando’s Founding Principal. “We expect they’ll quickly turn the Tijuana space around.”
Feathers are ruffling in excitement for Dave’s popular Nashville-style “Hot Box” meals, milkshakes, slusher drinks, and eat-at-your-own-risk reaper tenders.
